2019 tax return rejected for 2018 AGI because IRS hasn't yet received my 2018 tax return by mail. I did both tonight. (Jan 29, 2020). 2018 return is required to be sent by mail. Decided I'm sending 2018 and 2019 by mail to clear this up easily since I'm using the free version. I foolishly clicked that I had filed my 2018 return tonight in order to push the 2019 return through by e-file. My 2018 return is completed and ready to be mailed tomorrow with a stamp. I'm positive my taxes are correct for both years since they are the simplest form of taxes to do for both years Don't want to wait until IRS has received my 2018 return by mail for them or turbotax to clear my ability to print 2019 return on this site.
Q: How I can I remove the turbotax hold on my 2019 state return quickly so I can print it and mail it in?
Thanks

Thanks for your response and time. Unfortunately that link doesn't help. The button to print isn't available to me on the screen. There's also a notice on the webpage stating it is currently rejected as an explanation of why I can't print :(
I've changed to file by mail last night. Don't have outstanding turbotax fees and didn't use tax return to pay for the free version obviously. The rejection must be the road block.
A: Right now while typing this I decided to check my file by mail selection and I swear a new way to revisit and go through the final process to print revealed itself. It also showed e-file for 2019 which is weird since I know without a doubt I changed it to file by mail last night away from the original e-file.
Looks like contacting support and about 24 hrs fixes this mistake along with revisiting all areas with issues and making sure everything is set up right.

To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on View adjusted gross income (AGI)
Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
If your tax return continues to be rejected with the 2018 AGI then enter a 0 (zero) for the AGI and e-file again.
If this is also rejected then you will have to print and mail the tax return.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for printing a tax return for mailing - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/printing/help/how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online...
How do we get a refund for the state e-filing fee? I e-filed Fed, MD and DE multiple times between yesterday and today. It keeps getting rejected because of the 2018 AGI. I paid $49.98 for e-filing MD and DE. If I have to mail in a printed return, I would like the e-filing fee refunded.

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
