We have military retirement pay that is not taxable in our state, do I take it out under other subtractions for Kentucky

You will not need to make any entries under subtractions. KY exempts 41,110 of pension income automatically (it's a strange number I realize but that's their law). Unless you have more than this amount you have no entries to make at all. If there is a need to make any entries, it will be under Schedule P.
