Why is my husband required to take a RMD of $3362 when it is my RMD and not his? How do I correct this?

I took my RMD, but my husband is required to take the $3362 from his retirement account which he does not have. How can I correct this?

Edit the offending 1099-R....and make absolutely sure it is marked as being your 1099-R and not his.
