While Merrill Lynch's 1099s may be available online, they may not be in a format to import into TurboTax yet.

If you have the 1099-B form from Merrill Lynch, you can enter the information yourself instead of waiting for the import.  Depending on how many transactions you have, importing can save much time and work.
