Follow these steps to enter your IRA contribution:

With your federal tax return open:

1. Click on Show more next to Retirement and Investments under Deductions & Credits
2. Click on Start or Revisit next to Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions
3. On the next screen, check Traditional IRA or Roth IRA, and Continue
4. Proceed to the screens that follow and answer the questions and enter the amount of contribution.
