Follow these steps to enter your IRA contribution:
With your federal tax return open:
- Click on Show more next to Retirement and Investments under Deductions & Credits
- Click on Start or Revisit next to Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions
- On the next screen, check Traditional IRA or Roth IRA, and Continue
- Proceed to the screens that follow and answer the questions and enter the amount of contribution.
