I am having the same issue. I completed my all my taxes but when trying to complete my NYS return its telling me to Fix Return and bringing me back to page to Check This Entry for my Pensions/Annuities/IRAs Worksheet. I have attached my 1099-R for my federal and everything was good. I have exited out of the Turbo tax program and logged back in and still getting same Check this Entry and will not allow me to E-File.
Everyone is having the same issue on these threads:
I’m having the same issue. It is March 2 and I just started my taxes today. It has nothing to do with refreshing the page. It tells me to “check this entry” and then states We’re still working on updates related to retirement...
Still unable to file NYS. Still waiting for a software update.
I'm having the same issue with state filing. What's incredibly frustrating is that I've already paid and I'm just a few clicks away from signing and filing. But when it reviews state, I hit the same snag. I really don't want to mail in my returns. If @Turbotax cannot update in the next week or at least give us an update as to when this will be fixed, I want a refund and will use something else to file my taxes going forward.
@Jollygreen0401 States are in the process of updating their tax regulations regarding conformity/non-conformity to the Federal CARES Act on Retirement Distributions.
As soon as new State Forms are approved, TurboTax will incorporate them as quickly as possible into the program.
