Here's the general procedure for deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:
Refer to the TurboTax help article How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online? and How do I delete a tax form in TurboTax Desktop? for more information.
Forms will automatically regenerate if information required to be reported on that form has been entered elsewhere in TurboTax. Either the form is required or you have made an erroneous entry of the information that is required to propagate to that form. You can examine the automatically generated form to see what information is propagating from elsewhere.
Going to Tools>Delete form shows a list of forms by title only (No amount, no preview).
I have six forms with the same title. Some are duplicates some are not but can't tell just from the one-line title. So I don't know which to delete.
So frustrating. Can't get help unless I upgrade to some fancy $547 service just because of a poor TurboTax interface? Poor software should not be an incentive to have to pay for assistance.
@dmertz explains well how a deleted form can come back.
Which form are you having trouble with?
This often happens with a 1095-A
If your return is rejected because of the 1095-A: The IRS database thinks that you or a member of your household has, or has had a Marketplace policy.
You should Confirm that you and no one else got a 1095-A
If you're sure you don't have a 1095-A you can use these steps to clear it.
