What do I do if someone used my social security number without my permission

In what context?  For example, if you qualify as someone's dependent, they do not need your permission to claim you on their tax return.  Otherwise, why exactly are you amending?

And did you ever successfully file the original return or was it rejected ?     If so you do not amend the return your make the needed corrections and either resubmit the return or paper file it. 

What was the exact rejection code/message  ?
