Virginia Military Retirement exemption

I have already e filed our 2022 Virginia state tax return however I just found out about the new Virginia Military retirement exemption of $10000. How can I amend our state tax return to include this exemption?

I understand that part but how and where do I actually put in the military retirement exemption on the form
