Whenever I click the 'Start' or 'Update' button in the Step-by-Step mode of my TurboTax Desktop version running on Windows 10 to enter SSA-1099 data the screen flashes, then returns to the previous screen (Your 2024 Income Summary) and NOT the page to edit SSA-1099 data. I have closed and restarted TurboTax, applied all updates and even created a new Tax Return. I also researched all related articles in this Community. One suggestion says use the Form entry mode, which I can, but I should not have to. This appears to be a bug. I should not have to work around something. I have been using TurboTax for more than 20 years and have never seen this behavior. This is also my first Post of an issue in all those years. Please investigate and fix. Thank you!

Details needed...but you should probably call Customer Support anyhow:

Other than that:
1) Windows or MAC?
2) IF Windows, try rt-clicking on the startup icon and select "Run as Administrator"
still no go?
3) Check for any waiting or partially installed Windows OS updates and fully install them, then reboot even if there aren't any...and use #2 again.
Nope?
