Turbo Tax had a miscalculation on my recovery rebate credit. According to IRS it should have been $1200 not the additional amount Turbo Tax showed. Pay the amount?

Do I ignore IRS payment due & use Turbo Tax amount? I filed an amended return because IRS made an error with my SSA1099. TurboTax guaranteed 100% accuracy.

If first stimulus was $600 and the 2nd $1,200.    TurboTax would add $1,800 to yiur refund and ask in the final review how much of the $1,800 you received.  If you answered zero (or ignored the question), then all $1,800 is added.

Actually the first Stimulus was 1,200 for each spouse and 500 for dependent under 17

The second Stimulus was $600 for each spouse and dependents under 17.

How much did you have on line 30?  Did you get the full amounts for the first  and second checks?  The second one might have come after you filed.  Or did you qualify for more?
