TT didn't include Social Security. I fixed that for the Fed portion but it did not correct the state. How do you get the state part to include social security income?

I've thought about that and will do it as soon as I have enough time. That's what did on the Fed side but still wonder why it never came up when I went through the whole process. Will come back after the experiment.

Some states tax social security income different than the IRS and some do not tax it at all. What state are you filing in?

Yes, you are correct. I eventually got a human at TT who said the same thing and she had the information on each state. It turns out California doesn't tax Social Security at all, surprise, surprise.
