What does it mean is connected box checked following f.i.n on 1099-r form

right after F.I.N. on my 1099-r form it asks if connected box is checked. what does this mean?

That says is the CORRECTED box checked.  There might be a little box at the very top middle saying it’s a corrected 1099R.  If it’s not checked or not there at all then skip it.  It is rare to have a corrected 1099.
