I am retired. I live 6 months in Utah and 6 months in Florida. My retirement income originates in Utah other than SS. Pension and 401K. Can I divide my income based on where I am when I receive my monthly payments, and if I take a lump sum from my 401 while in Florida do I need to claim the income in Utah?

Retirement income can only be taxes by the State you are a resident of and living in.
So if you take a lump sum while a resident of FL, no other state can tax it.
You will report the retirement income for the time you were a resident of UT on the part year UT return.
