In what box number is an amount entered on the 1099-G that you received?

Substitute form 1099-G

Form 1099-G reports certain types of government payments you received during the tax year. Examples include unemployment, paid family leave, or if you received a state or local tax refund for a prior tax year.

Where you enter the information depends on what type of payment was reported on the 1099-G.  Please see the FAQ below for more information and instructions on where to enter the payment.
