No. Did you set up your return correctly as a joint return? In My Info when it asked if you were married, did you say "yes"? The next question would have been whether you want to file together with your spouse. If you said YES to that, then throughout all of the income screens there were spots with each of your names so you could enter your own income and the income for your spouse. Do not "register" until you go back and get your spouse's income on that joint return. Look carefully at all of the screens you visit so you do not miss your spouse's name on them.
