After much testing I found the following: I have one SEP IRA that requires an RMD of the amount 4307. Turbo tax show it as doubled, 8614. I thought that was the issue so I changed my RMD on the from from my IRA to 4444 and now Turbo Tax shows the amount as 8,751 which is 4,444 + 4307 BUT, I had replaced the 4307 on the form with 4444. Turbo Tax somewhere is retaining the 4307 even though it no long exists on any input from me, just from my original input. I even deleted that 1099r and reimported it. I don[t want to pay tax on an additional 4307!!! HELP

Is there an active effort to address and correct this problem?
There was an issue in TurboTax with the RMD calculation when multiple accounts were involved. A program update was released on 2/21/25, resolving this issue.
Please review your 1099-R entries in TurboTax and complete all of the follow-up interview questions. Once you are done updating your 1099-R entries, click Continue and answer those follow-up questions. Once you have completed these steps, the extra tax on Form 5329 should be removed.
If you’re still experiencing an issue, please post here so that we can assist you further.
