Is my retirement income from Texas local government taxable in North Carolina

I retired from a Texas municipal government and moved to North Carolina.  Is my pension from Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) taxable in North Carolina?  TMRS does not withhold taxes for states because there is no state income tax in Texas.

Retirement income is taxable income to the state you live in when you are collecting it.  the fact it was exempt in TX does not affect NC taxing it.
