Required to enter "Other taxable Income - TP" based on value from previous year's entry

When filing my 2021 taxes I documented a $10 bitcoin sign-up promotion "Coinbase bitcoin promotion". Now when filing for 2022 I was forced during the review to enter a dollar amount for Schedule 1:z "Other income. List type and amount: ".

I have no cryptocurrency activity for 2022, so I did not select that at any time while going through the 2022 tax filing process. Therefore it does not seem correct that it is carrying over this category of other taxable income from the previous year and requiring me to enter a value.

To get past that part of the review I had to enter $0, but I am concerned that submitting my e-file with an other income category listed with $0 would raise a flag.

Is there a way I can remove this bogus category of other income from my return?

You need to go into the federal Wages and Income section in TurboTax and find the Less Common Income section. Then, go to the bottom where it says Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C and update that section. On the next screen update the section where you orginally entered the income, probably the last choice Other reportable income. Search through that section until you find your original entry and delete it.

Thank you, this helped me clear it up.

In case it helps anyone else, here is exactly what I found:

Under Federal / Wages & Income / Your Income, it did not currently include the category Less Common Income. I think this is a deficiency in the software that it carried over an entry in this section from last year without prompting me to revisit it.

I clicked on add more income, and then had the option for Less Common Income / Miscellaneous Income 1099-A, 1099-C. After clicking Start on that, I found the entry and was able to remove it.
