Received an SSA-1099 form for social security benefits for the 2022 year. The page where I input my net benefits does not provide a box for Adjusted Gross Income

When I try to complete my tax return it is stating that I have not input my AGI where do I find the box to input that information

Is TurboTax asking for the AGI in the SSA-1099 interview, or when you are trying to e-file? I don't know why you would need your AGI for entering your Social Security benefits - besides, TurboTax already knows your AGI.

Did you only get Social Security?  You can't efile if you only enter ss.  If you only get Social Security it is not taxable and you don't have to file a return.  If you want to efile then enter $1 for bank interest.  It won't affect your return.  Make up a fake 1099Int.

Or to efile you need to enter your last year's 2021 AGI.

You need your 2021 AGI to efile 2022. The AGI is on 2021 1040 line 11. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

If you didn't file 2021 or filed it later in the year or mailed it, then try entering 0 for the AGI. If that doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.
