Here's how to enter your 1099-LTC into TurboTax: Open (continue) your return if it's not already open. Search for this exact phrase (copy/paste strongly recommended): 1099-ltc, long-term care - distribution and select the Jump to link. On the Any Long-Term Care Contracts? screen, answer Yes to the first question (and Yes to the second question if it applies, otherwise No) and select Continue. Follow the instructions. Here's how to enter your 1099-LTC into TurboTax:

Search for this exact phrase (copy/paste strongly recommended): 1099-ltc, long-term care - distribution and select the Jump to link.

I am using Deluxe and do not see where to search for 1099-ltc.

It depends. There used to be a jump to link but now it as changed. Here is where you will report this.

Log into Turbo Tax
federal>income and expenses>less common income>show more
Go to the bottom of that section and select Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C>start
Select Long-term care account distributions (Form 1099-LTC)>start

So, there is no link to take one to the 1099-LTC.

I am using a Turbotax Deluxe.
