When to Mark RMD Box in TurboTax

I calculated my RMD and actually took more than this. Do I mark the RMD box (All or part is RMD) or leave it blank. I'm afraid that if I mark it the IRS will think I'm taking the required amount by "force", yet if I don't mark it they might think I'm not even taking the RMD.

Yes, you will mark the box "All or part of this withdrawal is RMD" to indicate part of the distribution was your RMD.
