This is still happening on 2021 tax form, line 4. Entries on Interest income statement look ok, carried from federal form, but different on DP-10 with no reason. Unable to correct. Must hand write NH forms. Waste of money. Turbo tax did not fix known error.
Same problem. TT did not carry over the payor IDs from the federal form.
More details from my case. I have 4 entries on Line 4. There are multiple bugs:
1. Line 4 Payor ID's are not brought over from 1040.
2. When it asks for the payor ID, it doesn't show you which one it's asking about (Really Inuit???)
3. It doesn't ask about them in order... it's completely random. I did the NH return 3 times (by deleting it as suggested earlier) and it filled in the payor ID in 3 different sequences for my 4 entries. (Really Intuit???) NB: Previous suggestion that deleting the state return and starting again will "fix the problem" is incorrect.
4. No means is provided to edit the entries (Really Intuit???).
Add these compounding errors up and they guarantee DP-10 cannot be completed. Honestly, did anyone at Intuit try this out before releasing it?
After hitting this same bug, I figured out you can file for free online using the NH State provided website, Granite Tax Connect. It is free, you can pay online, and just as easy to use as turbo tax. Glad I didnt pay turbo tax for the state filing!
This 'fix' does not work.
Block 4 in NH-DP auto-fills from Federal return, all in the 'Non-taxable' block. This is wrong,
the are simple interest and dividends from banks, etc and ARE NH taxable.
Unable to Delete or Override these auto-fills, making the NH State return illegal and unusable.
THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE AT LEAST 2022???
