I left my employer in 2022Q1. My company 401k balance is purely Roth 401k, no traditional 401k (no company match at all). I have initiated a transfer from my company Roth 401k to my personal Roth IRA.
After this, I am wondering, can I do a $6000 backdoor Roth in 2022, the same year? I have zero balance in my traditional IRA account.

A Roth 401(k) to Roth IRA rollover has no bearing on your eligibility to make a traditional IRA contribution. A rollover is not a new, regular contribution to the Roth IRA.
