Always enter your correct social security number on your return. Employers may make mistakes, but you would never duplicate their mistake on your return, just to make them match.
I believe XXX-XX- may be for W-2 SSN new starting with 2020 for security reasons.
TurboTax missed it the first time on smart check but shown as error on forms.
