Please provide more detail about What you exchanged, for What, and When related events happened. Unless it was an exchange of real estate, 8824 probably doesn't apply on a 2018 or 2019 return. See https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-8824

How did you enter the like-kind exchange?

To enter your like-kind exchange using TurboTax Online follow the steps in the link.

If you are using the desktop version and seeing something odd, it may be due to forms not being totally updated for 2019 since many forms are not finalized by the IRS or in TurboTax.  Please update your TurboTax Desktop program.  You may not see a change until sometime in January if it is a form issue.
