How do i file a 1099-C?

To enter a 1099-C into TurboTax follow these instructions:

1. Select Search on the top right hand side of your screen,
2. Enter 1099-C,
3. Select Jump to 1099-C,
4. Follow the online instructions.

I can’t find form 1099 c to add to my tax return . I searched in the search tab for it and when I click on the jump to section it does nothing but stays on same screen .

To report the 1099-C please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your account .
2. Go to Wages and Income.
3. Click on Add more income
4. Scroll down to Less Common Income and click show more.
5. Click on Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C and click Start.
6. Scroll to Cancellation of Debt (Form 1099-C).
