Fidelity will not import my 1099R and Turbo does not have a way for me to enter it. How to "type it in myself"?

It is like go to door 7, but there are no numbers on the doors!

To enter your 1099-R manually that you received from Fidelity:

  1. Sign into TurboTax.com
  2. Select Continue where I left off
  3. On the left navigation panel, select Federal then Wages & Income.
  4. On the Your income screen, scroll down to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) and Start/Review.
  5. Answer Yes on the screen, Did you get a 1099-R?
  6. If you land on the screen, Review or Here's your 1099-R info instead, select Add Another 1099-R
  7. Answer any questions until you get to the screen, Let's import your tax info. Scroll down to Change how I enter my form (lower right hand side of screen).
  8. On the How would you like to upload your 1099-R? screen, select Type it in myself (which is next to Continue)
  9. Continue answering the questions to enter or review the info from your 1099-R

The importing of brokerage tax forms worked for one but did not work for the other.  the "enter myself" does not work, so I found another way to get it entered.  Method/instructions to get around the "import loop" were a bit much.  Just fix the "enter Myself".
