I want to declare my Canadian pension incomes. I have read conflicting answers on how to report it
One pension is the O.A.S and the other is the QPP (which does have tax withheld)
Do I put it under social security or treat it as a 1099R. I have seen both answers.
Do I really need to make a dummy 1099?

Please see the TurboTax FAQ on how to enter your Canadian pension: How do I enter my Canadian Pension Plan (CPP) or Old Age Security (OAS) benefits?
thanks. Do i really have to create an SSA 1099 for these? How much info do i have to puy on it?
where do i put the Canadian tax withheld? The SSA-1099 page or the foreign tax credit page, or both?
i would enter this into the SSA-1099 page.
