Blank Screens, TurboTax desktop

I downloaded and using the desktop version of TurboTax Deluxe.  Not online version in my browser.  When I click on basic buttons like "UPDATE" my W2, I get the blank screen.    A few months ago, I tried to look at my 2024 W2, and I got the same blank screen.    Many buttons are the same...blank screens.   Lot of support "answeres" out there say to clear my browser cache, but I'm not in a browser, I'm using the downloaded desktop version.   I can't get to the page to enter my W2 info, nor can I see last year's W2 page when I open last year's return.   Is there a solution?  Thanks!

Try this if you are using one of the TurboTax desktop editions for Windows.

Save your tax return and close the TurboTax program

Right click on the TurboTax icon

Click on Properties

Click on the Compatibility tab

Check the box Run this program as an administrator

Click on Apply and then on OK

Start the TurboTax program again and see if the problem persists
