I have forms telling me of the taxes I paid on my mandatory withdrawals from my 401a. Where do I put it on the Turbo ta?

To enter/edit 1099-R from your Retirement Plan:

1. Open your return (or continue if open).

2. Type “1099-R or 1099R” (lower-case works too) in Search box (upper right-hand corner of the screen)

3. Click on “Jump to 1099R” link.

4. Answer “Yes” on the “1099-R screen,” then Click “Continue”.  (You can Click on “Add another 1099-R” if you land on 1099-R Entries screen instead.)

5. Select how you want to enter your 1099-R (import or manually), and then follow the onscreen instructions.
