On my 2018 Form 5329, line 2, TurboTax did not limit the medical expenses to that which exceeded 7.5% of my AGI. What do I need to do to correct for this bug?

TurboTax does not limit this for you.  You must limit the amount entered yourself.  You can find the correct limited amount on Schedule A line 4.  (Examine Schedule A in forms mode since you might be using the standard deductions.)  Go to Other Tax Situations -> Additional Tax Payments -> Extra tax on early retirement withdrawals and correct the entry.
