  • You may need to click on Skip to see all income
  • Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
  • Click on Show More and then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)

Sounds like you are not seeing the whole income list. Be sure to scroll to the end of the page and see what options are available to "add" income.

From the beginning at Tax Home, click on Pick up where you left off to get back into the program. Immediately go to the left navigation pane to see the expanded menu which should now include Federal

Click on add more income or "I'll choose what I work on" to expand the list. All income includes eleven different categories of income. About mid-way on the list is Retirement Plans and Social Security.

I have tried the above steps multiple times--both yesterday and today--and it will still not work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
