No, not itemizing your deductions, especially this year, will certainly NOT make you more likely to be audited.

The standard deductions have almost been doubled by the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and a lot more taxpayers are taking the standard deduction this year.

I take standard deduction. why did IRS reject home office deduction that was ok by Turbo tax ?
