My Turbo Tax Program enters info in boxes 5 & 6 of my 1099R for my pension. My 1099R 5 & 6 bo9xes are blank and it causes an error. What should I do?

You can edit the Form 1099-R entry and delete the entries in box 5 and 6 if they are blank on your form. 

1. Find the Retirement Plans and Social Security menu option in the Wages and Income section of TurboTax
2. Update IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)

Find your Form 1099-R entry and make your changes.
