My daughter is now receiving Social Security Benefits and I need to know if I need to have taxes withheld and does she file a tax return of her own at the end of the year

or do I need to add it to mine

Assuming that the social security benefit statement (1099-SSA) has her social security number on it,  that is considered her income and would be reported on her tax return.  If Social security is her only income she would not be required to file a return.
