If it was deducted pretax then it was already deducted from the wages in box 1. Or if they are not pretax deductions the plan keeps track of them for you and when you take a distribution or get the pension part of it will come out tax free. You can only deduct contributions to IRA plans you make outside of work.

Contact your employer. Your employer probably has already removed the amount from Wages in box 1 and in state wages.
If so, you are OK. "Other" is fine for a category.
