Are they qualified dividends?    Dividends can be either:

  • Nonqualified (ordinary), which are taxed as ordinary income, or
  • Qualified, which are taxed as long-term capital gains at a lower rate.

Select this TurboTax FAQ to learn how they're categorized.

Solved. I had to close out of turbo tax AND shut my computer down. When I turn it back on the dividend's showed up on the 1040

Same thing happened to me using Mac version.  Thank you for providing the fix.  I've also encountered a few crashes using the software this year...seems a bit buggier than in the past...

I am using TT for Mac Home and Business 2024. My situation was slightly different yet similar.

I imported data from two brokerages, and only one showed up in Schedule B, while both showed up in Schedule B worksheets. Also in Easy Step view I could see figures only from one brokerage, even though when I select to "Revisit" all data on subsequent screens show correctly as entered.

I simply closed Turbo Tax, and reopened it and it finally synced the data between Schedule B worksheet and the actual Schedule B and now everything shows correctly. If I didn't do this, taxes I owe would be incorrect as big chuck of taxes owed from 1099-DIV from one of the brokerage account will be unaccounted for.

Also this version of TT for Mac crashes 100% of time on start.
