I entered my 401K RMD withdrawal info in the income section; when the Federal Review section comes up it asks me to enter the same info again. Why?

If you are referring to the question when TurboTax asks if you received all of your RMDs, this is just to confirm that you received all of your RMDs. Some TurboTax users might not have entered a retirement distribution and therefore TurboTax asks this question at the end when their birthday indicates that they have to take their RMD.

Please see Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) for additional information.

@BamaMan63

ALSO...if you took a distribution form that 401k last year too, maybe you have an empty 1099-R that carried over from last year (empty) that you need to go back and delete the unused form.
