i am on ssdi and i don't have a paying job but i take care of my elderly mother. Am i able to claim her on my taxes?

In taking care of my mother, I do everything with the household inside and outside. i grocery shop and cook meals etc.

IF you only get ssdi or SS it is not taxable and you don't have to file a return.  So claiming a dependent won't give you any benefit or refund.  Do you have other income to report on a tax return?
