I am currently filling out my W-2 and have a question on Boxes 18-20, Local Taxes. The Locality code printed on Box 20 is NY, not NYC or Yonkers?

Do I select NYC?

It depends. Do you live in New York City or do you live and/or work in Yonkers? If you live in New York City, then it is likely NYC. If you live and/or work in Yonkers, then it is likely Yonkers. If you are still unsure, then please contact your employer to confirm which locality the taxes were taken out for.
