Assuming that you are trying to enter your retirement income reported to you on Form 1099-R, follow the steps below:

  1. Select Federal
  2. Select Wages & Income
  3. Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
  4. Select Start by IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

After you add the first 1099-R, you'll return to the screen Review your 1099-R summary, where you can select Add another 1099-R if needed.

Refer to the TurboTax Help article  Where do I enter my 1099-R? for detailed navigation instructions.

Here’s an article from TurboTax regarding 1099-R’s: When to Use Tax Form 1099-R: Distributions From Pensions, Annuities, Retirement, etc. for information regarding retirement information.
