A couple of possibilities. Let's try one and if it doesn't work, we will try the next.
1. Go back to your federal income, edit the 1099-R.
The next question is verify the owner, select the correct owner, continue.

If this does not work, something odd is happening with your return. You will need to follow these steps:
Online version:
- Delete the form 1099-R, see How to Delete
- Log out of your return and try one or more of the following:
- Don't use Internet Explorer.
- Clear cache and cookies,
- Sign in using a different browser.
- Sign in using a different device.
- Log back into your return.
- Enter the information again. Carefully choosing the owner.
Desktop version:
- Delete the form 1099-R.
- Save your return while closing the program.
- Update the program
- Open
- Enter the information again.
