You should look a bit closer at the form you have from SS. A W-2 is only for employment income, not for retirement income
It should be a form SSA-1099 ....and that is NOT a W-2 form.
...SO, make all the W-2 boxes blank and get out of there and delete the W-2 form
Then go down to the retirement income section and find the entry section for an SSA-1099, and go in to enter the data there
