filling in 1099r form and my state wyoming is not listed on box 15 state and it will not let me type it in

It is because Wyoming has no state income tax. Leave boxes 15, 16 and 17 empty.

Leave boxes 14,15,16 entirely empty/blank....no letters, no zero's, no spaces (17-to-19 empty too if they accidentally put anything in there)

WY isn't there because it doesn't have an income tax.
