Do I report a $12,000 social security payment to my daughter as part of her mother's benefits, and if so how? Our daughter turned 18 in 2016 and had no other income.

Your child’s Social Security benefits should not be included in your tax return.
If your child has other taxable income and must file a tax return, the benefits would be reported on her tax return. If she has no other income, she does not need to file a tax return.
