Divorced in 2016 with alimony. That alimony would increase 2022. Do I pay taxes on the orginal amount or whole amount?

I divorced in 2016. I was awarded a certain amount of alimony a year. in the divorce decree my ex and i agreed in 2022 the alimony would increase by $3000. Do I have to claim the whole amount as income or only the original amount that was before 2019?

The new amount of course.   Income is what you actually received during the year.
