How do I determine how much of Box 5 is for health insurance? This question has been asked before, but the "answer" is incomprehensible. Exactly where do I look to find out?

This is an important entry. If you don't know the answer and the form issuer does not give you that information, you need to call them and ask. Fiduciaries issuing non CSA-1099-Rs usually will put a note along the bottom of the form or in an attached letter specifying the amount. Your amount may have been detailed on your pension check summary or stub.
You really don't want to guess and, as far as I know, it's not a calculation you can make yourself if there's no information on your check stub or 1099, it's a very specific amount that the issuer would know.

Find the annuity statement that OPM sent you for the year in question. It lists the "Monthly Health Benefits" that are deducted from your pension. Multiply that times 12, and that is the amount of Box 5 that was for health insurance.
Please show how you arrived at (computation) the figure for line 6Y on the 2024 Qualified Health Insurance Worksheet for the Missouri Form 40 tax return. How does it relate to Box 5 of the CSA Form1099R (retired federal employees.
thank You
Again: My CSA 1099R Box 5 shows $6992 for ins premiums which consists of Medicare ins (primary) and BCBS Federal ins (secondary). Yet the Turbotax calculations for my Missouri Health Ins Worksheet, Line 6y shows only $3992 as a deduction. Why not the $6992 as the deduction? I should note that I did not qualify for SS; so I signed up for Medicare once I became 65. My original post was to find out how Turbotax came up with the calculation; using numbers not words. Show me your calculations.
Thank You
