Corrected 1044 can I just use as a credit for next years taxes

I already filed my taxes but just received a corrected 1044. It’s in my favor. The total for non qualified dividends I paid in my taxes was about 17k, whereas the adjusted says I was only to pay about 10k. I don’t want to amend because my income was low enough that with deductions I didn’t have to pay any taxes anyway. My question is, can I use this for next years taxes when I probably can use the credit?

It was a corrected 1099-DIV reporting dividends received.

You cannot use that form for 2024 in any other year's tax return.

If this would not change your tax liability (which I understand is 0), you do not have to file an amended tax return.

Can you clarify?  Did you mean a corrected 1099-B?

It is the corrected year end composite 1099. Maybe it’s 1099-div specifically.
